In the 2025 White Rose and Amy Rose Regional Finals, held on Saturday 31 st May at Welford on Avon BC and Cotswold BC respectively, both our Men’s and Women’s Under-24 teams qualified for the Quarter-Finals of the two events, to be held at the National Finals in Royal Leamington Spa. This is the very first time that both have qualified for Leamington at the same time, creating a great day for Gloucestershire supporters on Sunday 17 th August, with simultaneous Men’s and Women’s Quarters, Semi-Finals and Finals at Victoria Park.
If you’re planning to go to Leamington for a long period, or just for a few days, that Sunday just has to be included, doesn’t it ? Please see actual Ticket Booking for the 2025 National Finals at : https://www.eventim.co.uk/artist/aviva-national-bowls-

Full details of the way the teams were used in the various disciplines [Singles, Pairs, Triples and Fours being used in all matches – a completely new format for 2025, replicating the way that international bowls events tend to be structured] can be seen at – https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vS7b-

However GBO System Administrator Bob Berry has kindly summarised the outcomes of the actual individual games for both competitions (so that you can see more easily who played in what disciplines), with ‘running’ positions then in the tables after each ‘result’ team sheet. These can be found on our own GBA Website under ‘County Matches’ within the ‘Men’s Selections and Results’ and the ‘Women’s Selections and Results’ drop-down tabs.
In summary, it was just a brilliant day for all involved, and huge, huge congratulations to all members of both the White Rose and Amy Rose teams. The individual young players bringing home this success can be identified in the detailed results.
